Skyrim Star Trek Mod Adds Spock As A Follower

Added: 28.02.2015 1:09 | 7 views | 0 comments

Skyrim Fansite writes: "Add Spock as your follower with this Skyrim Star Trek mod. Today is a sad day for science fiction and fantasy fans the world over. As Im sure you've heard by now, Leonard Nimoy passed away :( His portrayal of Mr. Spock in the Star Trek universe is brilliant, and the character has been, and shall always be our friend. Leonard Nimoy was 83 years young. Unlike Patrick Stewart (Star Trek: The Next Generation) or Michael Hogan (Battlestar Galactica), sci-fi great Leonard Nimoy was never given the opportunity to voice act in the Elder Scrolls franchise. This is a real shame. His incredible voice would have added much to the series. That said, Skyrim fans have the opportunity to pay tribute to Leonard Nimoy in a unique way. A Skyrim Star Trek mod exists that allows you to add Mr. Spock as a follower."

Top 5 Sci-Fi MMOs you Wish Existed

Added: 08.01.2015 11:10 | 12 views | 0 comments

It's rather amazing to see how popular fantasy has become in the last few decades. From the Victorian age onward through the 1970s, sci-fi was king in literature, movies, comics, tv, and radio. Fantasy was always a second cousin despite the popularity of The Lord of the Rings. But in the world of mmorpg games, fantasy is the undisputed king and sci-fi is a distant second. There are only a handful of popular sci-fi mmos out there: Star Trek Online, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and EVE Online. This is a shame as there are a great number of sci-fi intellectual properties that would make tremendous online games. Warm up your rocket engines as MMO-Play examine the top five sci-fi mmos we wish existed.

Q returns to the free mmo to spread holiday cheer in his usual condescending manner. Of course, the Winter Wonderland that he has created is not your normal holiday destination. It's rife with rampaging Klingon-style snowmen, gingerbread villages under attack, and this year the Borg make an appearance. Does taking part in this holiday event for STO warm your heart like a cooing tribble or make you as surly as a Tellarite?
